The new studio, dubbed ‘Studio 1053′, is home to ZumaPhoto, its sister studio Sprout Photo, and the Salt Lake annex of the incomparable, 6-time Best of State winning caterer, Culinary Crafts.
Thanks to a lot of help from our partners and friends, we were able to throw an awesome party for some 200 or so of our friends and favorite vendors! We make a pretty sweet team, if I do say so myself. ;)

Utah has some simply gorgeous backdrops for hosting a wedding – some unlike anything else on earth – and I have been privileged to get to know most of them. Its rare then that I hear of a ceremony in a location that is entirely new to me, and that’s why I was so intrigued when Julia and Dan told me that they were getting married at the Storm Mountain natural amphitheater. Storm Mountain is located about 2 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon (home to the Brighton and Solitude ski resorts). I knew about the amphitheater, but I’d never heard of anyone having their ceremony there. Now that I’ve seen one, I wonder why not.
